With apologies to John Teichmoeller, I have scanned in the relevant page from
his PRR hopper car book that shows
the car diagrams for the PRR GLa, B&O N-17 (their designation for their USRA
twins,) and the B&O N-12. These
diagrams show where dimensional differences and similarities between the
prototypes are. If one chooses to get the
height on an SHS conversion closer, taking 6" off the top of the side and
lowering the car 2" onto the trucks gets you
quite close.

Since I started with a PRR car, all it needs is a bit of careful painting and
you are done. (Ok, not really)
