Rusty, So that's the gon. From the photo I cannot determine whether the side ribs are painted on, somehow emobossed, or just a space for the modeler to affix the ribs. Anyway, it does exist. I do have one outside-braced box car. It is a Muncie & Western yellow car. Very nice except for two features: First, is that stamped roof. That of course can easily be replaced by using and working up the wooden roof. Second, is the fact that the company just uses its metal sides and puts side bracing on them. Still, it would probably look nice when completed. If you are interested, perhaps we could make a trade of some kind. You are more creative than I and might be able to tweak it beyond my vision.
