Rusty,

So that's the gon. From the photo I cannot determine whether the side ribs are
painted on, somehow emobossed, or just a space for the modeler to affix the
ribs. Anyway, it does exist. I do have one outside-braced box car. It is a
Muncie & Western yellow car. Very nice except for two features: First, is that
stamped roof. That of course can easily be replaced by using and working up
the wooden roof. Second, is the fact that the company just uses its metal
sides and puts side bracing on them. Still, it would probably look nice when
completed. If you are interested, perhaps we could make a trade of some kind.
You are more creative than I and might be able to tweak it beyond my vision.

Tom

Subject: {S-Scale List} PermaBuilt Gondola kit [1 Attachment]

[Attachment(s) from rusty rustermier included below]

I've attached a photo of an unbuilt gondola made by PermaBuilt in S scale. The
kit originally came with code 125 aluminum wheel sets but I sold them off long
ago. I was told that PermaBuilt also produced an outside braced boxcar although
I have never seen one.
