Thanks for the info and parts source.

I have an ample supply of Evergreen Scale Model styrene so I'll try 
scratchbuilding 6' Superior doors for an American Models 40' boxcar, see 
attached photo.  A NWSL Chopper is helpful.  The detail parts will be from 
Grandt Line or scratchbuilt.

Smoky Mountain Model Works offers a nice 6' Superior door.  Maybe a 7' and 8' 
door will be available in the future.
