The River Raisin 44 tonner was a gem that many overlooked in the beginning. It
won't haul long mainline trains but it will negotiate any radius. The other gem
in disguise is the River Raisin C&O 2-6-6-2 H-4 and H-6. This little
articulated is right at home on a 30 inch radius! It runs quiet, smooth and is
built like a brass locomotive should be built. Finding one for sale probably
won't happen any time soon.
