Trevor, That's a great suggestion, especially since I do plan on operating all these units together.
Here's my operational plan; Stage 1 (while I have limited space); This modular layout will start with a Crawley barge which will be serviced by BN#2. In reality, (and possibly in the future, when I get more space) BN#2 will load the barge at the Seattle facility. Also, the barge was really unloaded by an ARR 45 ton, but, as far as I know, 45 tonners aren't available in `S'. It will then proceed past the Canadian town of Galt, Ontario, which will be located on a connected , Alaska. Among other things, Wasilla will include the Museum of Alaska Transportation and Industry (which is actually located In Wasilla) which will include narrow, standard, an"Southern" pair of tracks that allow my modules to connect to `S'Mod, and on to Wasillad dual gauge sections. I intend to put up signs around the museum advertising "Goose-fest" and the visiting "Geese", specifically RGS #2 and a BA-6 that I'm building and modifying to function with a NW Shortline Drive.* In Wasilla, the WPY line will enter just prior to the station and run as dual gauge to the Museum, where the WPY will separate once again. On the narrow gauge section, RGS #2 will operate on "scenic runs" out of the Museum, while WPY #2 will assist with revenue service on the WPY (if I ever find a GE 25-ton). Simultaneously, any unfinished narrow gauge sections will be under construction by a work train pulled by Smith's Contracting #2. ~JJ Hill~ *I actually have two graphics of geese that I intend to use for these posters. One is an updated version of the Galloping Goose logo, with the Goose in a Railroad cap, which I found on a model site, which will direct people to the RGS Goose. The other was found on Mark Levin's site, being used by a Canadian forum member, depicts a (Canadian) Goose in a pit-helmet pulling the pin on a grenade with its bill, and will direct people to the BA-6, a Russian Armored vehicle which has a front end that looks remarkably like that of a goose (considering that it is an armored car). I actually plan to letter my BA-6 to be Ukrainian and make it appear as though it was purchased and is now being displayed by a US collector. http://www.armchairgeneral.com/rkkaww2/galleries/armored_cars/BA_6/BA_6ZhD_01.jpg http://www.wio.ru/rr/ww2/ba6zhd.jpg --- In [email protected], "tpm1ca" <tpmarshall@...> wrote: > > Dear Mystery Poster: > > The short answer is "no".
