Ken: I agree with Dan...! I posted a couple photos a while ago in my album of an E8a with an AT decoder installation. I hope the link still works.

I've never had any issues with cooking one; I am definitely more of a "try it and see what happens" guy. As far as resistors, Sam worked them out probably more from esperience. When I get a chance to check out his U33 and get all the LED's working in mine, I'll let you know. Right now Job One is to get the pilot attached to the frame on the "A" end.
