While internet surfing for prototype boxcar photos, I came across a boxcar used 
for storage and thought it would make a quick One Evening Project, see attached 
photo.

Building the step stringers wasn't a problem thanks to the tip by Lawrence 
Honurcik in the March 1972 issue of Model Railroader Magazine.  His suggestion 
to use graph paper was a good start.  I used Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet 
software to print graph paper with the desired riser height and tread depth, 
placed styrene strip stock over the graph paper and cut the stringers.  Minimal 
fuss with acceptable results.

I need to build an identical set for my modified AM boxcar with an 8' opening 
so I listed this 6' set on eBay under: Toys & Hobbies>Model Railroads & 
Trains>S Scale>Detail Parts.  Hopefully someone can put it to good use.
