Why would anyone "boot" S Helper products. I can recall someone who STOMPED
Flyer stuff.
 I think he still buys his boots in Maine.

  I too must express my thanks for many years of producing and selling fine
equipment, but even more than that, SHS allowed me the creative freedom to
produce some of my best work in their ads and catalogs.

  This doesn't happen all that often in our business. I would often have ideas
spinning in my head when Don would call and say--'we got the next run of XXX
and we've got an ad due to CTT and Heimberger in six days--come up with
something! or we have these Santa Fe F-7's with the stainless steel sides--we
need to show the reflective finish! These were all great creative exercises
for me while I made a few dollars and some trains to boot!

  I think Don and I forged a trusting relationship over the years and I hope I
lived up to my portion of that.

  Thanks for the memories Don, Robin and Mike (especially Mike as he signed the
checks)!

    Hi Don;

    Certainly a sad day, but good that you found a buyer in MTH. Thanks to you,
Robin and Mike (and everyone else involved) for all that you did.
