Bud: Gene Metzgar at Ye Olde Huff N Puff still silk screens those Hoods reefer sides. His kit is a 50 ft kit. Not sure which H.P.Hoods Milk reefer cars you are talking about. There were a few different variations. there were both 40' and 50' versions and there were metal and wood cars. The kit Gene offers is the 50' single door wood reefer. It is his # 605 and is $34.00 plus shipping. I have lots of milk car info if you need some copies of anything let me know I will share with anyone here on the site. I bought 2 of these exact Hoods reefer kits from him about 3 months ago. He only prints on demand so it may take a few weeks. Gene also offers the only correct, cast, and sprung passenger / express reefer truck that is correct for those cars and he now has wheelsets again thanks to Fred Rose at SSL&S. I just bought 10 sets of these commonwealth roller bearing fully sprung trucks from him.
