Dear Bill, The first two runs of Switchers was 18 volts, then 5 volt LEDs, but the dropping resistors were on the socket pcb, F units had 5 volt bulbs and LEDs (F7 class lights), no voltage regulation on socket pcb and the 2-8-0 head/tender light were 5 volt LEDs with no voltage regulation on socket pcb.
