Dear Rich, I too wondered why he dunked the trucks. I am sure that the bearing end did have residue Goo Gone left and the action of the turning pointed axle end may have contributed to the breaking down of the delrin. The delrin shrunk/deteriorated to a point where the bearings did not keep the wheelsets in place. Don
