I updated my web site while on vacation for the past 10 days and just
uploaded those pages. The primary page of S scale interest is this link:

Now that I'm 80% finished with my last HO kit, I can focus on catching up
with S projects. The roller bearing truck kits will start assembly tomorrow
and shipments made on a first-ordered basis will begin next week.

The S scale SAL B7 boxcar will require many parts to be designed from
scratch, including the door, walkway, brake platform and steps. These items
will be offered in the detail parts line as well as being included in the
kit. I'm also conversing with a local injection molder about making
ladders, side and end grab irons and different steps measured from Pullman
and AAR boxcars we have at the Craggy Mountain Line RR.

The GP38/GP38-2 project is slowly moving forward with the acquisition of
NWSL drive-train parts that will be used to build a prototype mechanism.
Once that is finalized, the frame, body, etc. can proceed.

The ASF 50-ton truck will be offered in limited quantities throughout the
year but not before the SAL boxcar is well into production.

Lastly, I'm pleased to announce that the 40 ft and 50 ft PS-1 boxcars will
be added to the "to do" list for late 2013 (following completion of projects
currently underway or in development). Several versions will be made
available over time, including the most common door styles/widths.

With my exiting the HO manufacturing world, I will have more time to focus
on S scale (while also catering to my industrial customers). 2013 promises
to be a very good year for S scale from Smoky Mountain Model Works.
