As I exited the truck-making business, a fellow club member (Graham Henry)
acquired the tooling and made another production run under the new name of
FINESCALE MODELS (I think). Perhaps he made more than one production run. I
was not paying much attention by then since I already had the trucks I needed.
As Bill Lane sez: "If you cannot buy it, build it!"
Very true back in the goode olde daze. You made it yourself, made a few extras
for friends, the profits paid for yours. I had a whole bunch of free trucks
for myself when the dust settled.
I was not alone in using that technique for various things.
