All scales have experienced this for many years. When I re-entered HO about 4-5 years ago, I wanted a pair of P2K Southern GP30s. None to be had, not even on ebay. When I asked a few dealers and friends about these elusive critters, I was told all were sold out BEFORE ever being loaded on the container(s) in China. Most dealers never received the quantity they pre-ordered and many direct-mail orders were not filled. This engine and its sister N&W Phase 1 (SR is Phase 2) have never been rerun.
