Let's cool our jets for a minute here, folks.

First up: MTH hasn't made a "Y3" since 88/89, when MTH was just beginning to
make O gauge products to compete with Lionel. It was a hybrid of the Y3 and
Y6b, so comparing it against the Lionel/Flyer Y3 of this past year or the O
gauge model of a few years ago isn't valid.

MTH hasn't made a Y3 since then. They did do a more accurate Premire Y6b in O,
but what year escapes me right now.

Second, the most recent Y6b out of MTH has been a Railking Imperial model,
which is slightly undersized, but better detailed than the normal Railking line
for O, to attact the "Traditional" O folks.

Plus, seeing that MTH has yet to put out an S scale catalog let alone product,
everything else is just rumor and speculation.

Depending on what the next Lionel/Flyer catalog looks like, MTH may have a LOT
of ground to make up.
