Group: 1. A few weeks ago I posted a comment about flatcar plans. Two or three persons inquired about obtaining copies of the plans. Well, I dug out the plans. Although the person who had them did draw some parts or perhaps traced them, I discovered that they are printed plans from a Northeastern flatcar kit that was once available in S scale.
If the persons who wanted the plans will contact me off list, I will be happy to photocopy them and send them off. The plans are for a 50-foot Western Maryland welded flatcar. 2. Recently I purchased a number of old "S Gauge Herald" issues. One for Fall 1967 in a section labeled "S Pikes Pix" has two photos of steam locomotives built by one Joe Scales. Does anyone on the list know Mr. Scales and what has become of the fine steam engines he built? If someone does, contact me off list. Tom Baker
