Here all along I though hot = expansion and cool = contraction. It is probably mid 60s in my basement now. It might get a little hotter in the summer but still... Maybe someone has an explanation as to why my track grew in multiple places in the middle of winter!




Two possibilities... lower humidity caused the wood framework to shrink or it was the work of aliens.
