Sorry, if this info is already known. I admit I don't keep up with the group
chatter that well.
My wife and I stopped by the MTH booth at the big train show in Springfield MA
yesterday. We chatted to two gentleman about MTH's S plans. Both were very
willing to talk to us and seemed genuinely excited about S's future. They said
the new catalog was laid out and would be available (likely online) in a couple
of weeks. I asked about supporting the scale community and they said it was in
the plans but some details needed to be worked out. (This was mostly about
electronics, and how to package scale wheels for rolling stock; with the car,
or separate. One mentioned that locomotives would include scale wheels ala
SHS). One of my fingers-cross question was about flex track and I'm happy to
report that they will be making that. Yea! It sounds like product will start
coming out in the summer.
In short, we were pretty happy with what we saw and heard. I think Don T. & co.
did well.
