Talking with an O Scale builder of structures at the Amherst Show
yesterday, I mentioned I was mostly in S and not so much into O.
He offered up that he was going to offer several of his structures in S.
The company is Crescent Locomotive Works Inc. OK, so with a name like
that you would expect locomotives. No, he produces fully assembled
structures. Will be offering the following buildings, water tower,
2 bay pitched roof engine house with 24 LED lights installed !
Coaling tower and a cinder hoist. These are all assembled and as his
web site says, "Ready to Run" Actually for what you get, the prices
are not bad at all, compared to kit prices. He also stated that a few
S Scalers/Gaugers have purchased his O station and platforms for use on their S
layouts. They look to be doable.

One statement from him I found very intriguing was, "Now that MTH
has purchased SHS, I think S is going to take off."
We can only hope, and wait and see.
