I have to disagree with you"WE are not "S guagers"". Have you measured the inside dimention of your track. I think you will find it the same at 7/8". Is that not the same as old American Flyer track. And we can adapt any of the NMRA clinics to our scale. How many HO buildings have been adapted to "S" Standards.
