Fred, I applaud you (and or Lionel) for keeping the pilot and trailing truck wheelsets insulated. There is nothing worse than those buggers shorting on the frame causing generally needless grinding on the frames. Most of the time the wheels will not derail but just short especially if you have trackwork like Bill Lane and myself!

As to Ed's trackwork and the stalling situation, perhaps Ed can elaborate. I've seen Ed's layout in operation a few times, and always with excellent running qualities.
