If you recall the "This is S" special insert they did a year or so ago it used 
the SHS SW1 and AM Trainmaster, so it sounds like they re-used the equipment. 
I'm still waiting for my issue!

You’re right. Duh!  I dug my Jan. RMC out of recycling.  I had skipped the 
“Train Set Gazette” section, assuming that it was just your basic intro to HO 
train sets.  But S scale (1:64) is clearly mentioned, along with SHS and the 
transition to MTH.  The structures listed are even S, though they are available 
in other scales.
 
Where did this come from and what does it all mean?????

I just got an issue of the January Railroad Model Craftsmen and they are 
building a post Christmas train set layout.  It is S scale with SHS track and 
SW1 and an AM CNJ FM Trainmaster with AM coaches for a commuter train.  Looks 
like they will build it over a couple of issues.
