Dave, Congratulations on your maiden run. Is that the Sn2 crossing you
were talking about in the photo?

My standard gauge mainline loop became operational this afternoon. My
friend Bert Mahr came over for a visit and helped me finish the last of the
wiring. After we found and corrected a few problems, like the two pieces of
rail I forgot to wire, we successfully operated a train around the standard
gauge mainline. Most of the track is dual gauge S/Sn3 but there are two
sections where it is only standard gauge. All handlaid with Code 83 and
70 rail. I placed a picture of the train in the L&W folder. With all the
recent talk about Spiral Hill hoppers, I used mine in the train. The Sn3
mainline completion should follow in a few months.
