I have updated my Standard Railway Castings Company website
(srcc.redmansefarm.com) as many of my previously
unavailable box car kits and detail parts are now back in production. There
are also some new parts available, with
many more slated to become available in just the next couple weeks. Several of
the new doors now being cast will be
followed shortly by new box car ends. Used in conjunction, kits will then be
available for a number of roads' 10 IH
Postwar AAR box cars, including B&O, DL&W, GN, S scale's first accurate NYC
Pacemaker box car, SP and others.
I have added a section on the web site for the Pullman window inserts
previously mentioned here, and that is
accompanied by some explanation of where the passenger car project will be
going, but I am not ready to ship these
parts yet.
I have added an inventory of CDS Lettering sets that I have on hand.
Unfortunately, I have chosen to retire a number of molds and so those parts and
kits are no longer available. This
includes the CN and CP '37 AAR box cars and the GN wood sheathed 10' IH ARA box
cars (built 1937-42.) If I were to
obtain sufficient preorders, I would consider making new molds for those parts.
