Hi Scott I actually got into Sn36 because most of the engines I like are either HO, On30, or On18. I've been checking out the stuff on Free Rails [On30] but think that I can combine everything into Sn36 with a little work-whereas I couldn't use the HO stuff if I did On30.
I was going to start working on an Sn36 GE Storage Battery loco this weekend, but actually got a call from NW Shortline TODAY telling me that the drive I'd ordered for this loco couldn't accept Sn36 axles. Fortunately, their next drive will work with Sn36, but that may not be out for some time. Even though there isn't a drive for it NOW, this engine looks great next to other Sn36 equipment; http://www.ebay.com/itm/360579327619?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Jeff Allen --- In [email protected], Daniel McConnachie wrote: > > Yes, Bill how did you handle this?
