At least 4 years ago Greg Komar - a great advocate and manufacturer of dry transfers told me he had to switch to offering decals because there was no companies in business capable of making new dry transfers. Unless things have changed since that time any dry transfers - especially S Scale - purchased now are likely to be rather old and difficult to use or are possibly not useable at all. Dry transfers get brittle as they age. I do not know anything about TRM Distributing. But I would think that if a company is going to be bought out the new owner would have intentions of continuing manufacturing new product. There is no long term business in selling down someone else's old stock.
