    If the proportions look right I wouldn't worry about the wheels since you 
have a vision problem. I'd probably just build a layout using track that is 
suitable for larger flanges, maybe AM or SHS track or possibly Gargraves? The 
larger flanges should be easier to place on the rails and might be more 
reliable if you have trouble seeing and fixing defects in the trackwork? If the 
loco looks good enough to convert it will look almost as good un-converted, 
especially from 3 feet away....Dave Branum
