{S-Scale List} Re: SD70ACe: A Look Under The Hood

I took advantage of the Des  plaines sale this weekend and picked an  SD70 
"WITH" scale wheels as delivered.
 
Just came up from the basement after a test run. The beast started to purr  
immediately after activating power from the Digitrax. It slid thru the #6  
turnouts with ease with minimal movement from the pilot. Now have to get 
those  claws replaced.
 
Hadn't gone to Ron's with the intention of buying the SD70 but seeing the  
BNSF scheme was too much temptation to over come.
