Hi All: First off, just a note to say that after reading Don's (and others) thoughts on the need for MTH to re-engineer the ELECTRONICS of the SHS switchers, it makes sense.
My apologies to anyone if my concern sounded like bad-mouthing or otherwise being a turd in regards to MTH's planned entry into S scale. Actually, that is the farthest thing from my mind as I hope for nothing but the best for S scale. It is indeed the perfect size. Surely MTH's and Lionel's entry into the scale in a much larger way has to be good for this scale. However I still must accept the fact that, for me, overall this list is no longer is a form of relaxation and a medium for S scale camaraderie as it used to be for me. The posts about layout progress, pictures that inspire modeling, et al, seem to be far and few between now. Most of the airtime is spent endlessly debating/etc. Therefore, I feel that I am going to go into cloaked mode, disengage the "Email Delivery", and go with "Web Site Only", touching base every now and then by browsing the S Scale Yahoogroups home page thusly. This is nothing personal, just what I need to do. Perhaps in the future I can detune my frustration to the point that I can re-enter and contribute in a meaningful way again.
