I’ve has the “predecessor” to that Resistanc SOldering Unit for a little over 10 years. Great unit & well worth the money. Unless you want to make one yourself. If you have transformer laying around & Pieces it can be done.
It is only “low” & “High” not variable, but you can work around that. There are other units that are fancier, but cost much, much more. If you buy it, you will want both carbon tips & needle nose tips as well as spares. if you drop them, they will break. Martin
