I didn't have a whole lot of time this past weekend to finish up on my
Soo Line stock car. I did install all the grab irons (this car doesn't
have traditional ladders so everything is straight grabs. With that in
mind the work I did do was coupled with a bout of 'flying grabs'. I
used a tiny tweezers to pick each up to trim and install--many didn't
make it that far!

So I decided to find a better time to restart that procedure, besides
a friend who is in On3 was having a 'golden' spike ceremony, BBQ and
regional get-together at his new home. When you have enough cash, a
supporting wife and live in the country you can own a very nice 30 x 30
RR room, with only marginally smaller shop plus attached library/kit
building shop to hold your hobby.

Last night I picked up and installed the remaining grabs and started
toward attaching the sliding doors. After that there are just a few
items that will need some attention, then it's off to the spray booth.
Although I've taken way too long to build this car, it was something
unique, a little challenging but lot's of fun. And yes Bud I did fix
the coupler droop!

Perhaps this weekend it will be warm enough for me to paint it but I
also need to get out the mower for a run around the yard--yes our
grass/weeds need a trim.
