I have been engaged in a bitter battle of colors for MUCH too long on my
soon to be Sellright reefer. It is possibly the first car I have ever painted
white. I don’t look forward to ever doing it again! With the hardware and
ladders being black it has been a constant battle of the colors. Most of the
black was hand painted. My hands are not the steadiest for this. I fix a
mistake with the black and have to come back later with the white. I fix the
white and make a mistake to cover with the black. 1 step up and 3 steps back….
I have been using an Opti-Visor lately so that makes the mistakes look bigger!
As long as the paint is not really cured you can usually remove Scalecoat paint
with Floquil thinner without damage to anything else. But the slightest black
residue shows up on the all white car.  I am almost DONE painting and decaling
should be commencing soon.  Thank You,
Bill Lane
