Yes, we did have a guy from the Chicago area who made the the bus castings .  
There were two versions - both 1950's GMC, a short and a long version. Even by 
the standards of the day, they were a little crude, but did make a good enough 
background models. Don't know for sure how many were made, but I would guess no 
more than three - four dozen of the short and 2-3 dozen of the long. I have 
found a few in estate sales in recent years, and they are snapped up pretty 
quickly when I let people know I have them. Trolleys, we had about 6 or 7 
different body styles.
