Hi,

Received my Dispatch today and was pleased to see Bert Mahr's CONRAIL &
EASTERN model railroad as one of the 2013 NASG Conventions featured pikes.
Folks Bert has one of nicest S Scale layouts in our group and you'll love
visiting it. Bert's comrade, Dave Heine, also has a very nice S scale
layout, with all hand laid track and much of it duel gauge. These two
layouts alone are worth the trip.

Also, I believe Barry Mertz is working on getting his Scale layout up to
speed for the convention. Regarding Frank Titman's Spiral Hill layout, Frank
is fading, his layout is still operational and we hope Frank will be up to
par at that time, too! 8>)

Of course I live in Hershey, Pa. AKA; Chocolatetown. Yes, everyone knows
where Chocolatetown is!

Can't miss my place, one block off of Chocolate Ave. and if all is well
here, my layout will be up and welcome to visitors as it always has been.

There are many other layouts open for travelers to the convention, Roy
Hoffman's splendid layout is another not to miss..

Jamie Bothwell also has much of the convention information is this issue.

Also, noticed a lot of calling for help regarding NASG Officers/Committee's
volunteer's to step up to the plate. Give it some thought; I noticed a lot
of young folks in many of this Dispatch's images.

Take care,

Bill (Fraley)
