A heckuva idea there, John.
If someone wants a printed membership list -- send Kinko's a computer file and
they will print it and staple it and probably even mail it since they are now
owned by FedEx. Charge about double the cost to make a buck or two profit for
NASG. Everything done from the keyboard. Kinko's does the heavy lifting for
you.
However, the NASG database will need a field that specifies whether the member
wants his privacy exposed (or not) and will hold NASG harmless. Might even
want the member's signature on a form.
So include the form with the election ballots about to be sent out. Folks can
check the appropriate box on the form, sign and return. Then click the
"privacy field" in the database while entering his payment into the computer.
Only the names with the "yes" button will print out for the printed version
assuming the software works as intended.
Another idea for others to do! I've been saying that for years and years.
Nothing new there. I am retired and loving it!
