The May 2012 issue of Model Railroader has an article by our own Brooks Stover.
It is titled " Scratchbuild a Small Factory" , How to use mat board and
cardstock to build an S Scale structure. He uses mat board (Strathmore), rose
board, and index cards for the building materials. Anyone that has seen his
layout knows that his building are all 1st class.

There is also another article that will be of interest to most of you. It is"4
technologies shaping model railroading's future". It is a series of 4 short
articles, Rapid Prototyping and 3D Printing, Controlling layouts with smart
phones and tablets, Rethinking the RP-25 wheel standard, and Small-scale radio
control and battery operation. I only had a chance to read the artilce on Rapid
Prototyping as I have used this process to get masters to make resin casting.
Others on this list have also use this process.

A third article of interest is :Styrene Structures in 7 simple steps". Good
artilce on using styrene to build structures. All kinds of good stuff in the
May issue.
