Hi Andy -- How do you handle money from the US? What form is best? How bad are the shipping charges / duty into the US? Us south of the border guys need to know...
Have fun! Bill Winans ----------------------------- The CNR Steel 8 hatch refrigerator car Series One kit is now ready in a very limited quantity. The kit's main components are Brass, Pewter and Resin castings. It also includes brass etchings, Grandt Line Ajax Brake system, DPR 8 rung ladders, Tichy hand grabs, 0.032"/0.014"/0.012" brass rod, Black Cat/CDS decals, a CD with a fully illustrated 67 page instuction set, SHS trucks and couplers. All you will need is glue, paint and of course...time! The final price is $105 CDN plus S&H unless you want to pick it up. Series One was built 1939 - 1940. It had an early style of AB brake arrangement, square corner Dreadnaught Ends and came in Minearl Brown paint scheme with white lettering. Many cars got the Grey scheme with the red lettering after 1945. These reefers went all over North America. Later this week, I am hoping the website will be updated to give a Link to this info. Each Series has a limited quantity as we want to cover Series 1 thru 6. The different Series had different details meaning ends, brake wheels, paint styles and running boards. You will get enough details to match any version including rebuilds up to 1960. If you have extra details, like a Univeral Brake wheel, then you can use them for something else. Series one is selling fast. Please let me know offlist if you are at all interested. Pictures have been uploaded into !CNR Reefer Folder of the Series One pilot model in original paint.
