Prices have gone up. If you purchase an ABA F3 you are talking over a grand which is more than the old S helper prices. Of course, the price of a computer in each engine adds up now a days. Consider it a tablet per engine. Also noticed a Christmas Car which didn’t look that well painted. I guess I’ll have to buy one to keep up the collection but I am not impressed. New track continue the S helper tradition plus the availability of more flex track makes my day. I also noticed the new Berkshire in the Lionel catalogue which you can only get with a passenger set. I wonder if it the engine is a transplanted close to S body similar to the Big Boy. No TOFC from either catalogue. With prices pushing in some cases close to $100 for TOFC on Ebay it would be nice for some new ones to drive down the prices. Anyway, guess I’m happy to see new stuff but I wish I was still working so that I could afford everything that I want to buy.
