Butch,

We can all live in harmony. All I am doing is combining the 2 and running a
fully functioning  railroad. I see full coal trains going south and empties
going back north. Bill is right, I may only have scale couplers, But I don't
move empty cars from point A to point B . I have a loop with a spur trackfor my
accessories. I will have a water tower from Altoona Model works when I get it
built. I say I am at the cross over stage. I have one engine I might change to
scale wheels. I remember me helping to get the word out to Lionel about the
scale wheel issue.

Well said Bill! We don't always see eye to eye but you said that much better
than I could and possibly saved me from getting booted off the forum for
responding too strongly. This is an "S" scale forum where everyone is welcome
as long as the context of their post has to do with "S" scale in some form or
fashion. Mass produced working S gauge toy accessories are not scale modeling
unless someone it converting them (somehow) to a reasonable scale model.

Due to the size of our chosen gauge we all need to live in harmony, which I
think benefits both sides of the fence, but we need to accept the fact that
there is a huge difference between an "S" Flyer layout and an "S" scale layout.
