As of today, the "19" A-B-A set of F-7's the18L-15A A-B combination have all
arrived safely at their new location. 09L is spoken for, and should be leaving
the property in a short time. That leaves SHABBONA RR a predominately Alco
road, with an EMD SW-1 for Humongous switching, and three EMD FP-7's
(12L-12A-12C) for passenger duty. Otherwise, the roster is as follows: two
RS-1's for yard switching, an Alco FA-FB2 set, and one RS-2 and two RS-3's for
road service, and of course, the CB&Q NW-2, which runs on the Centerville
branch.

With the new roster changes, there was a lot of lite engine moves and caboose
hops to get the power located where it is needed. 09L and EMD GP-9 #42 are
sitting in storage at the Terminal District engine facility. As previously
mentioned, the 09L is awaiting shipping orders to a new owner, which may result
in #42 going on the block, especially since it is the only EMD left for road
service.

These power changes bring SHABBONA closer to the roster it needs for
operations, and, especially, clears up space in the engine terminals for
engines temporarily parked between runs.

Still no sign of the Sceni-Geni in this neck of the woods, or any indication
that he may be here soon,
