Back in my early years in high school, my only income was mowing grass.
It took me all Summer to save for either a Rex engine or an Enhorning A
unit. Luckily I picked the Rex Dockside. Even though the thing waddles
like a duck, it still runs just fine!
I believe the Dayton units were also destined for gifts provided by
EMD. The drives I've seen are extremely crude, and they will test the
strength of any bridge on the layout!
