You should use “Canopy” glue – RC56 . You can find it at R/C aircraft
shops. There are similar glues out there as well, they are acrylic white
glue that turns to clear, flexible plastic when cured. Microscale’s Micro
Krystal Klear is an expensive version of the stuff.

I know that anything ACC will fog the plastic so I moved to regular Elmers
white glue. But placing the long strip perfectly in place inside the RDC
proved to be more difficult than I expected. So I am back to using real
glass and Zap A Gap green. ...
