I've been making progress on the Vanderbilt tender for my B&O EL-3
model being built from a Lionel 2-8-8-2.  I have completed the details
on the front, rear and top of the tender which is built from about 50
individual pieces of styrene. The locations of the Archer rivet decals
match the prototype as exactly as I could including single rows,
double rows and staggered rows of rivets all in the proper place.  The
major pieces yet to be added are the catwalks along the sides.  Then it will
be ready for installation of the remaining wire handrails, under body
details, internal wiring for the rear light and chuff sync cam, painting and
installing a coal load.  After the tender is done, I'll turn to
detailing the locomotive.  Brooks Stover
