Actually, FNF started on Thursday, with RS-2 #34 serving as the Terminal
District yard engine. It worked well, but "tripped the ground relay" a couple
of times (the circuit breaker on the yard throttle) on a couple of hard pulls
to dig out some cars. Next time, I'll reach in and grab RS-1 #30 or whatever is
handy to help out.

Once I had that done, I ran RS-3's # 35 and 37 from storage to the Outbound for
fueling and servicing, then went back and made up the Cenrtville local for a
return run to Keokuk.

Then I turned my attention to Mooar Yard to do a little switching in
preparation for the arrival of the daily freight train. Once that was done, it
was time to run the passenger trains.

Finally, it was time to run the Eastbound freight train. The RS-3's came off
the pit and wandered down to the East end of the yard and backed in on their
train, which was extra long because of some returning plug door boxcars for
Humongous and two loads of machinery for the CB&Q on flat cars, in addition to
the grain and coal loading for Humongous. The RS-3's had a little trouble
getting the train rolling, and even more trouble keeping it rolling on some of
the grades. After a hard climb into Mt. Zion, thing were a little easier
running through the valley on the Bentonsville District, but that changed again
for the climb into Bonaparte. After Bonaparte, things ease up a little bit, as
the run to Mooar was now level or slightly downgrade.

Pulling through MJ Tower and coming around the North side of the engine house,
the train crossed over into one of the Mooar Receiving tracks for yarding. At
the far end, the RS-3's cut away from the train and proceeded back to the
engine house on the Yard Main, and tied up on Engine Track #2. That was about
all I had time to do, so now the train is waiting to be disassembled and its
cars sent to the proper destinations. More on that as it transpires
