Bill, I don't know about other brands but PPG Ditzler auto lacquer gives a very flat flat finish. Not as flat as the MS Flat Finish but close.

I've used most all flats on the market and I've never seen anything that flat. It is pretty much all I have ever used. It seems that Scalecoat makes a flat “glaze”. Has anyone used it? Is it an equivalent to Dullcoat? I am looking for dead flat so hopefully the Scalecoat will do the job.
