The AM is close enough for most S scale modelers, although those who are up in
steel country may want some of the pure mill gondolas. I ended up with one of
the P&WV convention cars (possibly from a previous S Fest?) and noticed that
one was in a lot of four cars sold recently on ebay.I own at least five or six
of the AM gondolas, which, with the SSA USRA composites and a few converted AF
40 standards are probably as much as I need for gondolas.

At the "1990 NASG Pittsburgh Limited Convention" the convention car was a 52'
P&WV Gondola that I loaded with Scrap Steel, then at the "1992 Cleveland NASG
Convention" the convention car I secured was a Cuyahoga Valley 1992, 52'
American Models Gondola with Coil Steel Coil load on it.Are these gondolas in
the realm of this conversation, as I don't have the details of either car?My
problem is I guess I just run trains.Bill (Fraley)
