Perhaps Jeff Wilson is the only person I could think of **on this list** that could qualify for being a MTH dealer. At last I knew MTH and Lionel were 100% mandatory for having a storefront brick n mortar building. You can do internet sales but have to prove you are not a basement or car trunk/train show dealer only. Jeff's location does not bode well for casual pedestrian traffic.
Further I don't think you could "cherry pick" lines by just carrying S. MTH wants a dealer to push all scales. I can understand the MTH philosophy of being all in. But for Jeff to only be interested in S but be a deterrent to have to carry all scales... That was the perfect storm locally. A long established MTH and Lionel dealer train store was closing for retirement. Instead of going out of business they merged with a long established internet seller. I got a pretty good new train store 3 miles from here open this past winter.
