Earth to Bill!
Jeff was presented the Bernie Thomas award a few years ago for his
service to the organization. A well deserved award; and yes he's been
at it for a long time.
I started doing photography for the Dispatch back in the late 70's and
we've probably had 6-7 different editors--Dick Karnes, Bob Jackson,
Elaine Powell (Sam's wife). Mike Palmiter (sp), Gabler (again fuzzy on
that name) and a gentlemen from Denver I think, come to mind besides
Jeff. I also think Ernie Horr might have been editor when I was AWOL
during school.

Every time I get a Dispatch I think about how long Jeff Madden has
been putting it together - 20ish years I am guessing. Congrats for
the effort. A change was long overdue to give Jeff a break.
For Bill W -- I think this service is deserving of the lifetime NASG
award of some sort for Jeff.
