Thank you for allowing me to participate in your group. By way of
introduction, I am 63, a Gilbert Erector and AF kid, and I have been collecting
trains and building layouts since college.
My last layout, the Bluff City & Piedmont RR, was featured in S Gaugian and
Classic Toy Trains in the mid-90's. I have recently moved and will soon be
starting a new hirail layout that I hope will feature handlaid code 148 track
and turnouts. I've never attempted handlaid track before, but I'm game to give
it a go and will need lots of advice. I look forward to following the threads
and asking the occasional question.
