I thought I would jump back here for a moment to announce that we have released
the S Scale X29 AAR boxcar kit this week. It is an injection molded styrene kit
with seperately applied details. It is offered less trucks, lettering, and
couplers.
We will be leaving for Scranton for Jamie's jamboree in the morning and will
bring a couple assembled models and parts highlighting the kits detail.
Additionally, we will bring a few kits to sell. For the Lookie Lou's that wish
to see photographs, come see the real thing in person at Scranton and help pay
Jamie's hotel bill.
Due to the limited nature of the kit, it will not be offered to dealers and
will be available only from US.
We realize that there has been some angst over the long gestation period of
creating this model. After many interminable delays the final product was
finished by our moldmaker in Ukiah, CA and molded there as well. You may
certainly fill in the blanks.
We pull pitch at first light and hope to roll into Scranton sometime Wednesday.
If anyone is looking for me, I'll be the guy looking at the trains.
